Workshop “From Imagination to Architectural Form” AutoDesk Maya modeling tools, animation as an engine for generating higher complex geometry, as well as visual representation.

“From Imagination to architectural form”
The main aspiration of this workshop is each participant to develop a critical argument based on individual research that will transcribe imagination into a new geometry – an Architectural project.
Workshop will be held 9-11 December 2017 (3 full days 10.30am-1pm morning session and 2-5pm afternoon session) at University of Belgrade, Faculty Of Architecture, Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 73, 2nd floor, Belgrade, Serbia.
Software & Skills requirements:
Participants should bring their own laptop and to install Maya software, preferably prior to the commencement of the Workshop.

The workshop will incorporate Autodesk Maya modeling tools, animation as an engine for generating higher complex geometry, as well as visual representation.
Workshop Structure & Tutor:
Tutorials + Lectures + Production and Techniques (AutoDesk MAYA)
MA, MSc Nora Lefa Visual Artist and Architect. Masters Degree (MA), Arts et Technologie de l’Image Virtuelle (Université Paris 8 and Athens School of Fine Arts). Masters Degree (MSc), National Technical University of Athens. Degree in Architecture (University of Patras, Greece). PhD candidate, University of Sarajevo. She has worked for and with many renowned architects in Greece (most notably Manos Perrakis). She is currently running her own office of architecture, working on various visual art projects and doing research in new media and their perception by the public. She currently does research on new architectural forms. Her artistic and research projects have been presented in venues in Athens, Mykonos, London, Paris, Belgrade and Sarajevo; she has presented papers in several conferences and exhibitions.

13:00 – 14:00 | Lunch Break;
14:00 – 17:00 |Personal tutoring and advise.

Workshop Registration includes:

The deadline for registration is 15 November 2017. The workshop has 14 places available and will be activated with a minimum number of 6 participants.
