Fifth International Multimedia Event ON ARCHITECTURE 2017 The themes of the multimedia event ON ARCHITECTURE  are promoting quality design and  healthy environment, which improves the life of resident citizens and visitors, with attractive living places. It is what makes an exciting, vibrant city that offers knowledge about new trends in quality design and  healthy environment. 
Multimedia project is carried out with the aim of continuing education throughout the year in several events/ activities #KeynoteTalks 15 September 2017, #Workshop 15-17 September 2017, #Conference 7-8 December 2017, #Exhibition 6-16 December 2017.
At Multimedia Event ON ARCHITECTURE 2017 following topics will be in focus: I – Complexity and Architecture, II – Reworking the City Through New Architecture, III – Facing the Future, IV – Innovation in Art, Architecture, Science and Technology in Digital Era
These themes will consider substance of architecture through all its dimensions always thinking of it as an art and technology. The substance will be discussed regarding various points, processes and trends that contribute to new aesthetic and funcionalism: globalization, new approaches to design, innovative technologies, projects and materials.
Biography
Ružica Bogdanović, Phd is a Professor Emeritus of Urban planning and Sustainable development. Main areas of interest in research and teaching include: design – architecture & urban design, new media approach to architecture, concept of smart city.
She has initiated, conducted and implemented a number of scientific research projects as team leader and principal investigator. Has organized and moderated numerous panel discussions, round tables, national and international symposia. Author of numerous books and articles in professional journals. Presented papers at numerous national and international congresses and symposia.
Ružica Bogdanović contributes to the profession by active engagement in different professional organizations. She is a member of IsoCaRp, a delegate of Serbia in the ECTP, member of the Association of Serbian Town Planners, Society of Belgrade Urban Planners (was a Chairperson for 8 years, in two terms), Belgrade Association of Architects.
She received several awards for projects and books, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award “Emilijan Josimovic Grand Award”.

Mitesh Dixit

Biography
Mitesh Dixit is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Syracuse University and the Founder of DOMAIN Office. DOMAIN  works internationally on projects ranging from graphic design, residential, public buildings, and masterplans.. Its work has been presented at the Venice Architectural Biennale (2014), Franc Centre Museum in Orleans, France (2014), and MIPIM Conference in Canes, France (2014), The National University of Singapore (2012), and the Inaugural Chicago Architectural Biennale (2015). DOMAIN has been in numerous publications including Domus, Metropolis and Wallpaper.
DOMAIN operates within the contemporary art realm and has collaborated with artists such as Wim Wenders, Armin Linke, Vincent de Rijk, Ari Versluis (Exactitudes) and Antonio Lopez Garcia, as well as curators including Chris Dercon and Julio Vaquero.
After completing undergraduate and graduate work in Politics & Philosophy, Dixit completed the Master of Architecture from the Washington University in St. Louis. Dixit began his career at the San Francisco office of Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. Prior to DOMAIN, Dixit worked with Rem Koolhaas’ Office for Metropolitan Architecture as a Project Leader. While at OMA, Dixit led multiple international projects, such as the MahaNaKhon Tower in Bangkok, Holland Green in London, East Block 30 in Cairo, and the Kuala Lumpur Financial District in Malaysia. Dixit helped drive the conceptual development of other landmark projects such as Taipei Performing Arts Centre in Taiwan, the India Tower in Mumbai and Bawadi Desert Gate.
Dixit joined the faculty of TU Delft in the Netherlands as a Visiting Professor of Architecture  & Urbanism in 2011, and served as Editor of the Chair for Complex Projects at TU Delft from 2013- 2016. Dixit was responsible for creating the curriculum, content and graphic language for the Chair.  He lead the Architecture of Violence studio, focusing on the region defined within the USA Mexican Border, and the In Chicago Graduate research studio.
Dixit is an international public speaker and has lectured throughout Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia, United States, India, and Mexico. In 2016, Dixit was appointed as a Public Speaker as part of the US Department’s Speak Program; Dixit will meet directly with foreign public through lectures, workshops and seminars to discuss American policies, society and culture.

Aleksandra Stupar

Biography
Aleksandra Stupar is associate professor at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, where she graduated, obtained an MSc degree and a PhD degree in architecture and urbanism. She is the author of two books – ‘Grad globalizacije – izazovi, transformacije, simboli’ (‘The City of Globalization – Challenges, Transformations, Symbols’, 2009) and ‘Grad – forme i procesi’ (‘The City – Forms and Processes’, 2016). She was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Science, Technology and Society in Graz, the University of Tampere – School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Aalto University in Helsinki (School of Engineering, Department of Built Environment). Dr Stupar has published articles and chapters in national and international journals and books focusing on technological, ecological and political aspects of contemporary urban environment and its transformations.

Jelena Guga

Independent Researcher, Author, Theorist of new media and new media art, working on the issues of human enhancement, identity and embodiment in virtual and augmented reality

Biography
Dr Jelena Guga is a theorist of art and new media, independent researcher, and author. She holds a Ph.D. in Theory of Art and Media from the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. She was a Postdoctoral Researcher working on the Human Cognitive Enhancement project at the New Technologies Research Center, University of West Bohemia (Pilsen, Czech Republic) and a Visiting Researcher at the SPECS Group, University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain), where she carried out the project Body Ownership and Agency in Virtual Reality based on empirical neuroscientific experiment.
Her work largely focuses on the ways new media technologies have rearticulated and redefined the notions of identity and embodiment in the age of constant connection and technological augmentation – from identity construction and bodily refunctionalization through various digital interfaces and/or bio-technological interventions, to the convergence of digital and physical environments.
Dr Guga has participated in many international conferences and served on the scientific committees. She authored peer-reviewed conference and journal papers. Her book Digital Self: How We Became Binary is published in English (University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, 2015) and Serbian language (Digitalno Ja: kako smo postali binarni, ArtKult, Novi Sad, 2015).
